After successful completion of their first venture, Mrs. Tamang 2016, SK entertainment has geared for its second venture, this time targeted to the married women from Gurung community. The event is been named as Mrs. Gurung and has finalized its finalists for the competition. In the screening held in Kathmandu, around 2 dozen contestants have been shortlisted for Mrs. Gurung 2017.
As per the organizing team the event is been designed to empower married women from Gurung community through grooming process that would include personality development, communication skills enhancement, confidence boosting, providing a platform to showcase their talent, put their ideas and voice.
The orientation on fashion, beauty, fitness would be the added part of the event while the major one would be making the ladies know the importance of ethnic values, tradition, culture, language of Gurung community, also making them participate in proliferation of all the those elements in one way or the other. The event would be choreographed by Rojin Shakya and is scheduled for the last week of month Shrawan 2074.
