Grishma wins Miss Talent Award at Miss Asia 2015

Nepali beauty Grishma Basnet was successful to grab Miss Talented award. During talent round Grishma Performed in Nepali Songs called Maitighar and Maa Pyaara Bechi dinchu in Miss Asia 2015. Five feet four inches tall Grishma took the opportunity represent Nepal at Miss Asia 2015 through Nepalese Council.


Five feet Six inches tall, girl at age of 20 from New Delhi, India has been crowned as Miss Asia 2015 in an event held at Le Meredian, Kochi, Kerala, India on Tuesday, 18 August. Miss Kapur received half million rupees as the prize money. She competed against 13 other Asian beauties from Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bhutan, China, Iran, Malaysia, Nepal, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Tibet, Turkmenistan, the UAE and Uzbekistan, to bag the prestigious title.

In the competition 20 years of age Nepali beauty Grishma Basnet was successful to grab Miss Talented award. During talent round Grishma Performed in Nepali Songs called Maitighar and Maa Pyaara Bechi dinchu in Miss Asia 2015. Five feet four inches tall Grishma took the opportunity represent Nepal at Miss Asia 2015 through Nepalese Council who arranged all the necessary stuffs required for her to participate in concerned competition. Earlier to this Grishma was crowned as third runner-ups for SLC Princess 2011 and was also the winner of Miss E College 2012 event. She was also one of the contestants for Miss Nepal 2014.

Miss Asia 2015

Miss Asia 2015 Kanika Kapur, who is interested in travelling, reading, theatre and swimming, is a student of Journalism and Mass Communication and has also won titles like Miss Mood Indigo 2013 and Femina Style Diva North 2014. She has also acted in the 2015 Telugu project “Tippu”. She was also selected as Miss Queen of India at the 5th edition of Manappuram Miss Queen of India.

In the event Miss Philippines Alfe Marie Nathanile Dagle Uy, aged 25, was elected as first runner-ups while Miss Azerbaijan, Djeyla Quliyeva, aged 23, was successful as second runner-ups. The event had three rounds of competitions – National Costume, Black Cocktail and White Gown and was been judged by Asian supermodel Larisa, Malayalam actress Ambika, film director Sohan Roy, 2012 Miss World Sri Lanka Sumudu Prasadini and 2006 Miss India World Natasha Suri.

The first edition of this international pageant was been organized by Pegasus targets to bring every corner of Asia together to show the world not only the beauty but also the talent and confidence of youth women of Asia. The pageant aims to appreciate the genuine beauty and inherent talents of young Asian women.
