A list of final of competitors of the 87the Academy Award (Oscars) has been made public. As per the list, ‘Birdman’ and ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ have been nominated in common nine categories. Final films were selected on Thursday.
American Sniper, Birdman, Boyhood, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Imitation Game, Selma, The Theory of Everything, and Whiplash have been nominated for ‘Best Picture’.

There will be battle for ‘Best Actor’ among Steve Carell (Fox catcher), Bradley Cooper (American Sniper), Benedict Cumberbatch (The Imitation Game), Michael Keaton (Birdman) and Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything).
Likewise, Marion Cotillard (Two Days, One Night), Felicity Jones (The Theory of Everything), Julianne Moore (Still Alice), Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl) and Reese Witherspoon (Wild) have been nominated for ‘Best Actress’.
The Oscars Awards will be distributed on February 22 at Los Angeles, USA.
