Most prestigious award of world music Grammy Awards -2015 was recently held. During the award ceremony at California, 22-year-old British singer Sam Smith received awards in four categories.
He received award for ‘Pop Vocal Album’ from ‘It’s The Lonely Hour’, ‘Song of the Year’ and ‘Record of the Year’ from ‘Stay With Me’. He also received award for ‘Best New Artist’.
On the other hand, Beyoncé, who was also nominated in six categories, received three awards. His album ‘Beyoncé’ received ‘Best Surround Sound Album’, while she grabbed two other awards under ‘Best R&B Performance’ and ‘Best R&B Song’ categories from ‘Drunk in Love.
Ricky Kej and Neela Vaswani of India received Grammy Awards. Ricky’s ‘Winds Of Samsara’ got award for ‘Best New Age Album’. Likewise, Neela grabbed award under ‘Best Children’s Album’.
Awards in 83 categories were presented at the 57 edition of the Grammy Awards.
