Bollywood actress Shruti Haasan has arrived in Kathmandu on Friday. The actress arrived in Nepal for shooting of film ‘Yaara’.
Shruti is daughter of South Indian film star Kamal Haasan. She is staying at the Kathmandu-based Radisson Hotel, sources told to Galmour Nepal. She made her foray in Bollywood through movie ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ directed by Prabhu Deva.
The source further added that actor Irafan Khan is too arriving in the capital on Saturday evening for the film. Khan, who won the Academy Oscars through movie ‘Slum dog Millionaire’, often says he is eager to visit Nepal time and again.
The film ‘Yaara’ will begin shooting in different locations of Kathmandu and Lalitpur some three days later. Director Gaurav Gupta plans to shoot over 30 percent of the movie, based on the story of a gangster, in Nepal.
Of late, many Bollywood celebrities have been arriving in Nepal for different purposes.
