by Rojin Shakya | The 19 beautiful participants of The Hidden Treasure Miss Nepal 2017 are going through several phases of grooming and activities which obviously are making the girls exhausted by the end of day. But the good note is that they are being polished and getting ready to shine and to be seen.
In that regard the ladies are going through regular trainings conducted by the choreographer Rachana Gurung Sharma. Besides her training session, the girls are being groomed in various aspects as well.
Losing the extra fat, toning the body, keeping healthy mental state through Yoga, meditation and physical training, the contestants went all through these, at Jasmines fitness and Spa.
‘Reach The Zenith: Unlease The Potential’ this was an additional feature in this year’s grooming session. This was a 3 day close camp at Dhulikhel where the lovely contestants went through various trainings related personality enrichment.

Knowing the mantra of success was more interesting for the contestants of Miss Nepal 2017, as they all were set to achieve the success winning the crown. This motivational and inspirational grooming class was been conducted by Ranjit Acharya.
Mr. Prachanda Man Shrestha was another man to add more information in the brains of the beauties of Miss Nepal 2017. This time was more on Tourism.
The contestants also learned various aspects of culture in Aruna Nakarmi’s culture lecture session. Likewise the contestants learned on importance of Nationality and major aspects from former Nepal Army chief Rookmakgud Katwal.

Likewise the contestants also learned more on competition, do’s and do not’s of the pageant through their seniors, former Miss Nepal queen Malvika Subba. Among one of the major visits, it was at Maiti Nepal where contestants interacted with Anuradha Koirala who made the contestants aware about the situation of women violence and women trafficking in Nepal.
The contestants got to learn more on Women Empowerment by women activist Sapana Pradhan Malla while they did learned more on pageantry through reigning Miss Nepal Asmi Shrestha and the runner-ups of the Miss Nepal 2016. These all learning is making the contestants sound more beautiful by their brain.
On the other hand Reveal Make -up and Hair class by Sophie Sunuwar and Bigen Tamang, Styling ideas by Fashion Choreographer Bipen Gurung has helped the contestants to reflect more of beauty of their external personality.
The photo session with Raj Bhai Suwal and his mentoring in how to look beautiful, attractive and appealing in the pictures has definitely stored ideas and ways to be better in the pictures.
To make contestants put more of their effort and also to make each contestant competitive not only for the national but also for the international event, the sports event been introduced since last year in the Miss Nepal pageant also took place this year. During the sports event the contestants were divided into groups to compete each other and there were solo competitions as well.
More of the athletic sports activities were incorporated during the sports event. The activities were conducted at Army Physical Training and Sports Centre.
The contestants got more knowledge on Dining Etiquettes at Hotel Annapurna where they practiced on fine cocktail dining manners. Besides the regular training session the contestants of Miss Nepal 2017 also had a short trip to Chitwan where they attended workshop conducted National Trust for Nature Conservation, NTNC.
The workshop was hosted at Biodiversity Conservation Center, Sauraha, Chitwan. The workshop was focused on imparting knowledge on various issues, challenges and efforts on biodiversity conservation, protected area management system, wildlife conservation and related issues. The contestants did explored Chitwan National Park through different rides.
The things are not yet over. More polishing, more competitive sessions are on the way to make each of our beautiful ladies to shine from inside and outside. So, people, be updated with us while we bring more from the making of Miss Nepal 2017.
