Victims to play in Rekha’s film RAM PYARI

Two rape victim girls have been contracted in RAM PYARI of actress Rekha Thapa. Thapa, who had reached Rakshya Nepal, a social organization, to promote her film TATHASTU, received honors from them.

Puja Bohara and Puja Karki will be acting an assistance characters to the actress in RAM PYARI. Rekha will provide them with acting trainings after two weeks.

Rekha had reached the Lazimpat-based Rakshya Nepal where 32 children and girls who were raped or forced for flesh trade are living. Rekha also provided economic assistance to the organization.

Those taking shelter in Rakshya Nepal will be attending the premier of TATHASTU on Sunday as well. The film unit coordinated with the Rakshya Nepal team the film has also raised the issues of rape.
